Pricing
That is the whole price list: two ways to pay for a car - by the month, or once - and every feature, for everyone, either way. You choose for each car.
What it buys
- Everything kWhKey does, for that car. There is no second level and nothing is held back.
- Every phone and watch of your household. One purchase pays for the car on all of them: Android phones and Wear OS watches.
- The watch app is included. The car you pay for is the car you see on the phone and on the watch.
- No ads, ever.
What there is not
No free trial. No free version. No yearly plan. A car nobody pays for is locked in kWhKey: the app shows which car it is and nothing else, until an owner of the household subscribes for it.
How it works
- One subscription per car. Each car is its own subscription in the store, so each one is cancelled by itself.
- Up to 20 cars. One household can subscribe for at most 20 cars, monthly and lifetime together. For more cars, write to support@kwhkey.com.
- It renews by itself every month, until you cancel it.
- If a payment fails, the car keeps working while the store tries again, for at least a week.
- Moving it to another car. A subscription can be moved to another car twice in any 30 days.
- You buy on your Android phone, as an owner of your household. Nothing is ever bought on a watch.
Lifetime access
- $199.99 once, for one car. The same features as the monthly subscription, on every phone and watch of your household. It never renews and nothing more is charged for that car.
- What "lifetime" means: for as long as kWhKey provides its service for that car - not for your lifetime. If kWhKey stops for good within 60 months of your payment, you get $3.33 back for each month left.
- In the first 60 months, if kWhKey can't reach your car for 5 days in a row, you get $3.33 back for that month (Terms, section 4A).
- Moving it to another car works as for a subscription: twice in any 30 days.
- One car, one or the other. A car paid by the month that you switch to lifetime keeps its monthly subscription until you cancel it in the store - buying lifetime does not cancel it. kWhKey moves the car to lifetime as soon as Google Play has the payment.
- Changed your mind? Ask support@kwhkey.com within 14 days of paying and you get all of it back. Google Play's own refund window applies too.
- A refund or chargeback ends it, and the car is locked in kWhKey again.
- Lifetime access is a license to use kWhKey for one car, not ownership; it lasts as the Terms say.
- Where: on Google Play.
How to cancel
You cancel in the store you bought in. The car stays paid until the end of the month you have already paid for.
- Google Play: open the Play Store app, tap your picture, then Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > kWhKey > Cancel subscription. Or open your subscriptions in Google Play.
Deleting the app, or deleting your kWhKey household, does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in the store first, or the store keeps charging.
Refunds
The store's own refund rules apply: ask Google Play. Malina LLC refunds too, through the store: for lifetime access, all of it if you ask support@kwhkey.com within 14 days of paying, and if kWhKey stops for good within 60 months of your payment, $3.33 for each month left. A lifetime purchase that is refunded ends, and its car is locked in kWhKey again. The Terms say the rest, monthly refunds included.
Where it is sold
Only on Google Play, for Android phones and Wear OS watches. kWhKey is sold in the United States only for now. The price above is in U.S. dollars. Sales tax, where it applies, is added by the store.
